Entraining in the field of Love (500) - Radiating Light
When we were children we would often 'dress up' in adult clothes and in
school plays and at Halloween, most of us would pretend to be someone other
than our self.
This week we are practicing being Realized. We are practicing entraining our
self to the high fields of love, joy, peace, enlightenment. What I mean by
that is, whenever possible, we express reverence, serenity and bliss. Our
outlook, our life-view, as Dr. Hawkins describes it, would be that of being
complete, benign, and perfect. We are to play with expressing no wants, no
needs, no desires.
Now it would seem that our egos would just love to play being enlightened.
It would seem to 'don enlightenment' would feed and nurture them. However, to
manage to stay in the state of joy, a state of peace, a state of love, we must
overlook the beliefs of the ego. They must be set aside and surrendered. Our
egos, our personalities, believe the world is a place of competition, a place
of 'getting', a place where needs are fulfilled. The ego does not understand
the concept 'to give is to receive', even though it thinks it does. Instead,
it sees the world as having something to give or take. The ego sees everyone
as separate. It sees the world as fulfilling its desires.
To play enlightened, we don the belief that the world can offer us nothing,
does offer us nothing and will offer us nothing. We hold in mind that we are
already complete and whole. Instead of getting from the world, we play with
the understanding that by our very be-ing, we give to it. Like the sun that
gives to all, we would play with the idea that we are radiant and complete.

Set aside a time in your day to play 'being enlightened'. The power of the
500 and up fields of consciousness [refer to Dr. Hawkin's map of
consciousness] will entrain us to them.
- Give yourself a half an hour of pretending to be in the higher fields.
- The practice is about holding in mind the intention of being in
the 500 and up fields. These fields of consciousness are such that we
experience and express feelings of reverence (500), of serenity (540), of
bliss (600) and feelings that are ineffable (700-1000).
EXERCISE
- Recall something you especially love. This might be a scent, a scene
from nature, music, a person, a movie, a season, a memory. Bring the
intense loving feeling to mind.
For example, I recall a time in my home when I had one whole corner of the
living room set with an arrangement of potted plants. I had never before
had such a lush and varied selection and I loved them with a passion. The
standard lamp that lit the area had a 'grow light' bulb in it. It shed a
moon light blue hue over the luxuriant green leaves. For me, this memory
brings up a feeling of utter, primal beauty. Even as I type, the feeling
of loving those plants rises up in me. Find loving memories like this one,
tucked within you. Use something or someone you feel intense love towards.
To recall the feeling of concentrated love brings us into that field of
energy, the field of love, which calibrates at 500.
- Let go of the catalyst; that which triggered the feeling and hold
instead in the field of loving-ness.
Love is contextual and what is loved is merely content. My memory of the
beauty of the house plants assists me to move from the memory itself to the
feeling the memory elicited.
Let the memory be like the training wheels -- allow them to fall away as
unnecessary.
Drop the 'event' - realize you have no need for memories.
No need to focus on that which reminds you of feeling the love.
Instead realize you can choose to maintain the feeling of intense love.
You are able to choose to feel the love. You willingly choose to recall
the intense feeling of love and hold in that field of energy.
- Willingly let go of the content - the 'thing' you remember - and become
the Love - the context.
- Choose to hold this radiant, fierce, expressive, giving feeling of love.
See how you let the love radiate out at no one or no thing in particular.
Notice the quality and feeling of this Love. This is you being love.
- Entrain in the field of love for longer and longer periods of time. You
may manage to hold in this field for seconds, then minutes. Remind
yourself of the power of this field and realize how much you do for all by
being in it for seconds. Be a lamp of love. See it radiating from your
body, off your skin, out of your eyes and ears and mouth.
- When it becomes effortless and you are able to remain in the field of
love for longer and longer periods of time, attempt to hold in this field
while in public. Focus intensely on holding to your purpose of being love
while with others. See the love beaming out of you as you entrain to the
field. Think of yourself as a sun - it shines on everyone and everything
without exception.
This is a radical exercise and it is imperative that you be intense about
it. Be childlike in your expression.
- Until such time, put on the watcher and notice and be aware of how long
you choose this state.
Release any judgments or demands of your self about how long you should be
loving and notice. A resistance subsides by being noticed and accepted.
Watch and be aware of how long you are able to live in the vibration of the
Love field before dropping the intention. Notice the quality and feeling of
love without attachment to 'something'. Notice the feel of Be-ing love you
are entraining yourself to the field of Love.
